Fl. forming a double triangle, 110 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, shouldered at base, rounded at apex, brilliant yellow spreading, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower; corona cylindrical, smooth, vivid yellow mouth straight and frilled, with rim dentate.
