Fl. rounded, 90 mm wide; petals pale yellow with central undefined white band; petaloids white, some yellow or with yellow band; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, broad in outline, round or squarish at apex, pale yellow, with white mucro and with more or less broad band of white at midrib, overlapping; the outer whorl spreading or a little inflexed, with margins slightly wavy; inner whorl more strongly inflexed, with margins more heavily wavy or recurved; the center whorl shorter, strongly inflexed, tightly clustered, with margins enfolded; corona segments 2/3 the length of the two outer whorls of petaloid segments and interspersed among all three, white, sometimes touched with yellow, loosely frilled. #59/was parent [ (Green Island x Roseworthy) x Debutante] of ‘Melbury.’ Duncan 96 catalog calls it 4 Y-W.
