The Brodie of BrodieFl. large; perianth segments ovate, blunt or truncate, only slightly mucronate, pale yellow, spreading, plane, overlapping one-third; the inner segments a little twisted; corona flushed deep glowing reddish orange, mouth expanded and frilled, rim minutely crenate.
Part of the Brodie “old soldier’s garden” series. This daffodil was cultivated by Major Ian Brodie, the 24th Laird of Brodie, after World War I, and was named after one of the sites where he as served.
