Fl. forming a double triangle, 105 mm diameter, facing slightly upwards; perianth segments very broadly ovate in outline, shouldered at base, blunt or rounded at apex, scarcely mucronate, brilliant greenish yellow, paler at mid-zone, with greenish white at base heavily streaked with moderate olive green, and with brilliant greenish yellow at margins, spreading, plane or very slightly concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments a little inflexed, with margins slightly wavy; corona funnel-shaped, lightly ribbed, vivid yellow, paler at base, mouth a little flared, lightly frilled, with rim regularly notched and crenate.
