Cart.& Goodwin catalog of 1914 description: “creamy white perianth, intense fiery red cup”. From Rev. Joseph Jacob’s book Daffodils circa 1910: “Firebrand is a small bloom, but it has one of the reddest little cups of any daffodil.” (Jacob’s book was part of the “Present Day” Gardening series).
