Fl. 48mm wide, deep yellow; perianth segments 21mm long, narrowly ovate or lanceolate, blunt or acute, scarcely mucronate, reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; corona 23mm long, cylindrical, broadly ribbed, lightly frilled, with mouth flanged and notched.
