Fl. 94 mm wide, facing up; petal segments are broadly ovate, shouldered at base, mucronate, brilliant white, spreading, plane or with margins slightly incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; inner segments narrower; cup is funnel-shaped, ribbed, brilliant red, mouth expanded and frilled, with rim dentate. Sunproof. Sweetly scented.
