Fl. forming a double triangle, 108 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, shouldered at base, blunt or slightly truncate, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments somewhat inflexed at base and reflexed at apex; corona funnel-shaped, narrow and smooth at base, loosely ribbed above, mouth flared, lightly frilled, lobed, with rim dentate.
