Fl. more or less rounded, 80 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, very slightly mucronate, shouldered at base, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments slightly narrower and a little inflexed; corona cylindrical, smooth, mid-pink, with a very small area of green at base, mouth ribbed and flared, lightly frilled, with rim dentate. Sunproof. Sweetly scented.
