Fl. facing slightly downwards; perianth segments pale yellow, somewhat twisted; corona funnel-shaped, clear soft yellow, with mouth widely expanded, frilled, rim deeply notched.

According to the Caerhays Estate website:  “On 5th April 1897 J.C. Williams and his lifelong friend, P.D. Williams visited Appleshaw and both made significant purchase from Engleheart.  Shortly after their visit JCW purchased ‘a whole bed’ of 2 year old daffodil seedlings from Engleheart, including ‘Golden Bell’.”
