Fl. rounded, 100 mm wide; perianth segments very broad or roundish, blunt and sometimes truncate at apex, mucronate, shouldered at base, pure white, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, more nearly ovate, slightly twisted; corona cup-shaped, smooth, deep golden yellow, with a slight tinge of green at base and with fiery red at rim, frilled, with rim crenate.
