Fl. 105 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments ovate, blunt, vivid yellow, reflexed, with margins wavy, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; corona cylindrical, smooth, deeper in tone than the perianth segments, mouth ribbed and expanded, frilled, rim rolled and dentate. Very early. Resembles a large-flowered ‘Peeping Tom’ with the perianth segments more deeply overlapping.
Named in honor of the notable English daffodil hybridizer, Percival Dacres Williams known as P.D. by friends. Known for hybridizing the large daffodil ‘Carlton’.
