Comments

It had smooth overlapping white petals all in the same plane held on tall strong stems above the foliage with dark red cups. This probably was a 1997 seedling, possibly related to ‘Crimson Beauty’.

Origin of Name

Planted adjacent to one of the great trees at Oakwood.

Named because it was planted near a Burr Oak tree and it stood the test of weather, better than others at this growing site.
