Fl. 85 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments ovate, acute, vivid yellow, reflexed, convex, with margins wavy, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, orange-yellow, mouth ribbed, flared, wavy, with rim crenate.

Origin of Name

Part of Blom’s “Spring Series.” Named because it looks like a splash of gold in early spring.
