Fl. deep golden yellow; perianth segments very broad in outline, rounded at apex and with margins sometimes incurling, with slight white mucro, spreading, plane, smooth, regular, overlapping half or more; the inner segments more nearly ovate, square-shouldered at base, a little inflexed, with pale midrib showing; corona cylindrical, smooth, with mouth slightly expanded, loosely frilled.
