Bemerkungen

Fl. 110 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, truncate, prominently mucronate, pure white, spreading, shallowly concave, margins minutely incurling at apex, smooth, regular, overlapping half; inner segments more narrowly ovate, slightly mucronate, slightly inflexed, margins a little wavy; cup is disc-shaped, ribbed, opening deep orange, becoming yellow-orange, with green at base, mouth lightly frilled, deeply split, with overlapping lobes. Resembles a larger ‘Omagh’ of heavier substance with purer white perianth.

Ursprung des Namens

Named in memory of Doctor Hugh Watson, a founding member of the Northern Ireland Daffodil Group and a dear friend and traveling companion of the Duncans.
