It was selected anyway because the wilting of the flower intensified the pink in the perianth (which recommends removing the perianth and letting it dry out a little as a way of proving pink in the perianth).  Ages into a 2 P-P hue.

Ursprung des Namens

This plant’s first flower was vandalized by cockatoos hence the name.
