Fl. small; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane, overlapping one-third; the inner segments a little narrower, slightly inflexed, sometimes twisted; corona large cup-shaped, with mouth straight and a little frilled.

Named for a small settlement on Skye, Scotland.
