Perianth segments ovate, rounded at apex, light yellow, overlapping; corona rich yellow, frilled. Resembles ‘Sir Watkin’ but with the perianth segments of a deeper tone.
Description from Royal Horticultural Society, Volume XXXIII (1908), when awarded the Award of Merit, “A largely, finely proportioned, deep golden-yellow Incomparabilis variety unusual beauty.”
