Perianth segments ovate, lemon yellow, spreading, with margins sometimes notched, overlapping one-third; corona cup-shaped, rich orange, with rim crenate and lightly flanged.
According to The American Horticultural Society’s 1937 issue of the The American Daffodil Year Book, Guy L. Wilson’s article “Some Modern Daffodils for Garden Decoration” states: “Garibaldi, which also received an Award of Merit at the trials, is a late mid-season flower with pointed bright yellow perianth, and brilliant orange red cup with retains its color exceptionally well, making it of special decorative value : it is a very free of bloom and increase.”
