Fl. forming a double triangle, 90 mm wide, facing up; perianth segments broadly ovate, mucronate, shouldered at base, spreading, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, with midrib showing, overlapping; the inner segments narrower, more nearly acute; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, reddish pink, mouth ribbed and expanded, wavy, with rim dentate. Sunproof. Sweetly scented.
Named for a small farming community south and east of Niles, Michigan.
