Fl. star-shaped, 76mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 35mm long, ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, reflexed, plane or with margins a little wavy, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower; corona 35mm long, cylindrical, smooth, mouth flared, lobed and broadly ribbed, with rim dentate.
