Fl. 35mm wide, brilliant yellow 7A; perianth segments 8mm long, oblong in outline, rounded at apex, mucronate, reflexed, plane or with margins slightly incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments narrower; corona 11mm long, cylindrical to narrowly funnel-shaped, angled, mouth broadly ribbed and a little expanded, with rim deeply notched.
