Ron A. ScampFl. rounded, 92 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, very broad in outline, rounded at apex, somewhat truncate, scarcely mucronate, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the outer whorl spreading, plane; the second whorl slightly shorter, a little inflexed, concave, with some margins incurling; the center whorl incomplete, strongly inflexed, twisted, with margins deeply incurled; corona segments short, interspersed among the petaloid segments and clustered at center, frilled.
Named after the location of the 1999 American Daffodil Society Convention “Pittsburgh Something Special”, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
