Fl. forming a double triangle, 115mm wide; perianth segments 50mm long, ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate, shouldered at base; corona 52mm long, cylindrical, smooth, mouth slightly expanded, even, with rim minutely dentate.
