Fl. 94 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, only very slightly mucronate, vivid yellow, spreading, plane, regular, overlapping half; the inner segments only a little narrower; corona cup-shaped, smooth, vivid or strong orange, tinged with a lighter tone towards base, mouth straight or slightly expanded, very lightly frilled, with rim irregularly crenate.
Received the Royal Horticultural Society(RHS) Award of Garden Merit(AGM) in 1993 and the award was rescinded by the RHS in 2012.
