Fls 3 per stem; perianth segments ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, spreading to a little reflexed, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments slightly narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona cup-shaped, broadly and irregularly ribbed, mouth straight and wavy, with rim entire.
