Fls 5 per stem; perianth segments ovate, blunt, mucronate, spreading to a little reflexed, plane or with margins slightly incurling, creased, of heavy substance, overlapping one-third to a half; the inner segments narrower, less prominently mucronate; corona cup-shaped, mouth straight, ribbed and wavy, with rim entire.
