Fl. 115mm wide; perianth segments 50mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, yellow, spreading, plane, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments slightly narrower, shouldered at base; corona 22mm long, bowl-shaped, ribbed, orange-red, mouth expanded and frilled, with rim notched.  Strongly scented.
