Fls 2 per stem, 52mm wide; perianth segments 21mm long, ovate, blunt, mucronate, reflexed, plane or incurved either side of midrib, with margins incurling, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 7mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, mouth wavy and a little expanded, with rim entire.
