Fl. forming a double triangle, 126 mm wide, greenish white; perianth segments very broad in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, variably mucronate, spreading, plane, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, a little inflexed, somewhat twisted or with margins wavy, angular at shoulder; corona ribbed, with brilliant yellow-green at base, mouth expanded and wavy, rim shallowly rolled and more or less entire.
Believed to be named after Egypt’s boy king, King Tut.
