Fls 3 per stem, star-shaped, 65mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 29mm long, narrowly ovate to oblong, blunt, prominently mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, overlapping a quarter to half; the inner segments scarcely mucronate; corona 14mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, mouth expanded and wavy, with rim minutely crenate.
