David AdamsFl. forming a double triangle, 93 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, blunt, mucronate, spreading, plane, with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the inner segments narrower and more nearly ovate; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, reddish orange, mouth expanded and frilled, rim flanged and dentate. Sunproof. Sweetly scented. Resembles a stronger-stemmed ‘Trelay’ with the flower at right angles to the stem.
