Fl. 95mm wide; perianth segments 40mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, golden yellow, spreading, plane, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower, shouldered at base; corona 22mm long, cup-shaped, ribbed, orange, mouth straight and frilled, with rim notched.  Strongly scented
