Fl. rounded, 75 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, truncate, scarcely mucronate, spreading, plane, with broad midrib showing, smooth and of heavy substance, regular, overlapping half; inner segments only a little narrower; corona shallow bowl-shaped, narrow, ribbed, yellow, with a broad band of orange at rim, frilled, with rim crenate.
