Origin of Name

According to the April 2008 Issue of The Newsletter of the Irish Garden Plant Society: “Named because it is presumed to have come originally from the O’Mahony’s garden at Coolballintaggart, Co. Wicklow but it only surfaced in the early 1900’s.”
