Fl. forming a double triangle; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, spreading, plane, with margins incurling at apex, smooth, with midrib showing, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower, more rounded at apex and only slightly mucronate, shouldered at base; corona bowl-shaped, smooth, mouth with overlapping lobes, expanded and frilled, rim deeply notched and crenate.
