Fl. rounded, 75mm wide, deep yellow; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, a little reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona cylindrical, smooth, mouth flared, ribbed and wavy, with rim entire.
