Rounded, 42mm, up to 16 fls/stem; perianth segments very broad, rounded; corona bowl-shaped, smooth with mouth even; slightly flared and serrated cup and rim. Opens with soft yellow – primrose cups that fade to whitish with maturity.

According to Bill Welch in the March 2010 issue (46 -3) of the American Daffodil Society Journal; ”Max grew them from a quantity of seed I sent him one year from Autumn Colors group x various pollens, the tetraploid paper whites being the only tetraploid pollens used at that time.”

Origin of Name

Max Hamilton’s “Maori Number Series”. The name ‘Tahi’ is the Maori word for one. Max Hamilton received seeds from Bill Welch and named them by order of blooming in Maori language.
