Fl. up to 140 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, very slightly mucronate, canary yellow, spreading or slightly reflexed, plane, smooth, overlapping one-third; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, more noticeably reflexed; corona smooth, vivid yellow, with mouth expanded and frilled, rim slightly flanged. Resembles an earlier-flowered ‘Kingscourt’ with the inner perianth segments more rounded.
