Fl. 92mm wide; perianth segments 39mm long, very broadly ovate in outline, blunt at apex, scarcely mucronate, white, slightly reflexed, plane to a little concave, with margins incurling, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, more nearly spreading; corona 11mm long, bowl-shaped, brilliant greenish yellow, mouth ribbed and lightly frilled, with rim narrowly flanged and dentate.
Named for the village Stanghow, three times winner of Britain in Bloom.
