Fl. star-shaped, 95 mm wide; perianth segments ovate, blunt, vivid yellow with slight white mucro, spreading, separated; corona split to base, the six segments almost as long as the perianth segments, opposite and closely overlying them, bi-lobed, spathulate, brighter in tone than the perianth, frilled.
