Comments by hybridizer Alec Gray in his catalog: “One or two bright yellow little Jonquil flowers on each stem, of very good form, 3 inches tall.” It was written by George Lee in The Daffodil Handbook (1966), referring to Division 7 miniatures: “Because the species of this group have short cups, the hybrids are almost all 7b [short cups in the classification of the time]. The only 7a’s [long cups] are ‘Little Prince’ and ‘Skiffle’, neither of which is available.”
