Fl. 21 mm wide; 4-8 flowers per stem; perianth segments 8 mm long, ovate in outline, rounded at apex, mucronate, opening soft lemon yellow, becoming white, spreading, plane or with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third; the inner segments narrower; corona 3 mm long, white.
