Origin of Name

Simon Mehnert visited Brian Duncan and named this cultivar  for “our 15 year (Crystal) Wedding Anniversay. In terms of the name Shell’s – Is Short for Michelle (my Wife), Crystal is the anniversary and star as its what the flowers resemble… Shell’s Crystal Star.”
