Fl. 100mm wide; perianth segments 44mm long, broadly ovate, truncate, very pale yellow, with darker tones at margins, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments shouldered at base, flushed with lemon yellow at margins; corona 11mm long, bowl-shaped, yellow, deeply ribbed, mouth a little expanded and lightly frilled, with rim dentate. Sweetly scented. Sunproof.
