Fls 4–5 per stem, 55mm wide; perianth segments 21mm long, roundish, very broad, mucronate, white, spreading, plane, with margins narrowly incurling, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more nearly ovate, margins wavy, scarcely mucronate; corona 10mm long, 22mm wide, bowl-shaped, smooth, opening pale yellow, maturing to whitish with yellow at base, mouth straight, broadly ribbed and somewhat wavy, with rim minutely crenate. Sweetly scented.

Named for the city of Cincinnati, “City of Seven Hills.”
