Fl. rounded, 84 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls, very broad, rounded at apex, shouldered at base, greenish white, margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; the outer whorl spreading, inner whorls inflexed; corona segments interspersed among the petaloid segments, ribbed, orange-pink, with a paler tone at rim and with light yellowish pink at base, lobed and frilled, with rim notched.
