Fls 4-7 per stem, 55 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, vivid yellow, with prominent white mucro, reflexed, creased, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments less prominently mucronate, spreading or inflexed, more strongly creased, often with margins folded back from midrib; corona bowl-shaped, loosely ribbed, strong orange, frilled, with rim crenate. Sunproof. Strongly scented. Resembles a later-flowered and more brightly colored ‘Hugh Town’.
