Fl. rounded, 100 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in three whorls regularly arranged, with some extra segments at center, roundish, very broad, truncate, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance; corona segments regularly interspersed among the petaloid segments, strong orange, with strong orange-yellow at base.
